  had a very bad experience eating at the sociable with my boyfriend tonight :( this was our first time eating there. Very good food and service at first we were planning on tipping our waitress a fair amount and returning again soon! we spent over 100 dollars on food and drinks. By the end of the night however, our waitress, Becca, sent two large drunk men outside to harass us to pay our bill! ( We went out for a cigarette, like you can do at many restaurants and bars.) anyways, one of the men started aggressively telling us to go inside and pay our bill. We said, multiple times, that we would in a minute when we finished our cigarette. (this guy does not work there/bounce for the Sociable!!) he then proceeded to call my (black) boyfiend a gangster and again aggressively tell us to pay for our bill! We had no intention of leaving without paying!! We are not that type of people! We went out with the intention of having a good time and went home feeling regret that we wasted our night and money:( I feel really uneasy about the whole night. Never have I witnessed such ignorance and racism! Will not be returning to the sociable again!

  Great rotating beer selection, and tasty food. Cross between a large open sports bar and hipstery vibe. Service was very attentive and good, food was delicious and beer selection was well explained and laid out.

  I ate at this restaurant 3 times over the course of 3 days.
  
  Staff: Always polite and helpful.
  
  Beverages: a large selection of beers, with a revolving selection of regional crafts.
  
  Food: kind of mediocre. The chicken in my Ultimate Macaroni and cheese was microwaved and dry. The brisket I had was a piece of shoes leather. The burger I had was pretty good. One stand out was the condiments, which were made in house (mass market versions are available.) I loved the zucchini relish.

  I have been here twice, once during the busiest time of their day and the other when there was almost no one in the restaurant. Both times I was warmly welcomed by the hostess and she sat us quickly. The first experience: we had one of the very servers I have ever had in my life, honestly he was personable and funny. He was very busy but that was okay because he was honest with us and ensured we were taken care of. The food was outstanding and the house made ketchup is something to die for. The second experience: my girlfriend and I went on a date here and we got a booth to ourselves and the restaurant was not busy at all. Our server was friendly, but not as good as the server from the visit prior. She was formal and informative and we were able to have a great experience with her. She was more lively by the end of the visit, and she sold us on all of our options, which made deciding harder. But she was professional and knowledgeable of all the menu items we were interested in and even made insightful suggestions. The pictures of the food are attached to this review, and just a side note: the salmon is not broken when served, my girlfriend couldn't wait to start eating because it looked so good. I highly recommend this restaurant. Also, to boot, there are incredible beer options here that go above and beyond my expectations.

  UPDATED - Every time I go, it just gets better. The service is fantastic, the staff are friendly and personable, the food is delicious and you cant really go wrong ordering anything. I personally recommend the "sociables" large platters and dishes to share that are absolutely delicious and innovative.
  Highly recommend!
  
  Good food, great service and a truly social atmosphere. I personally recommend getting the Ultimate Mac n Cheese and the Marbled Cheesecake.
